New Dental Patients

Our goal is for your first visit to be as comfortable as possible and for us to become familiar with all of your dental needs and goals.  Whatever your dental needs, we invite you to collaborate with us so that you get the most out of your visit.

We value your time and there are several things that can be taken care of before your visit to ensure your time with us is as efficient as possible. You can find all the necessary paperwork here on this page so that you may finish it at your leisure and bring it with you to your appointment. We will still ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. If you will be relocating records from your previous dentist, it is always best to get these before your initial visit. Typically these are sent directly to our office and this process can often take a couple weeks. The Records Release form may be sent directly to your previous dentist who will help to expedite this process. In addition, we do our best to work with any dental insurance you may have and are preferred providers for many. In order to give accurate treatment estimates you must have your current insurance information with you and make sure the front desk is aware any time there is a change.

First Dental Office Visit

Your 1st visit will most likely consist of exam, x-rays and a cleaning. During your initial exam we will be taking all necessary x-rays, digital pictures, and other records to determine the best course of treatment, if any is needed. Sometimes there may be more than one way to address a concern. We will go through all pros and cons to any proposed treatment and make sure that you have the information you need to make an informed decision in these cases. Our goal at the end of your appointment is for you to understand the condition of your mouth and what can be done to either maintain or improve that condition.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the initial visit. With the proper consents other approved adults may accompany patients under 18 to subsequent appointments.
