At Redland Family Dental we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. We also strive to make sure that you are fully aware of the costs associated with your planned treatment.

To accomplish this we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance benefits. As health care continues to change, keeping up with what your insurance will cover can seem overwhelming. Let us help you figure out how best to utilize your insurance and review payment before treatment. Keep in mind that frequency limitations for certain treatment may affect payments for services received. As a courtesy to our patients with insurance, we bill insurance carriers directly after each treatment. However, patients are ultimately responsible for all charges resulting from any treatment provided by Redland Family Dental, regardless of insurance payments. All co-pays, deductibles, and portions not estimated to be covered by insurance benefits are due at time of service. 

Young adults 18 and older that are still covered on their parents or legal guardians insurance are considered the responsible party for co-pays, deductibles, and patient portions not covered by insurance benefits. If necessary, arrangements may be made to take care of these costs prior to treatment.

After insurance has been billed and the claims are closed, the responsible party will be billed any remaining balances that insurance did not cover. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by our office regardless of your insurance coverage. We will send you a monthly statement after all claims are closed. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks.

We are PPO providers for most major insurance carriers including Moda Health, CIGNA, Dental, Delta Dental, MetLife, Regence Blue Cross, Ameritas, and several others.  Please call our office to verify if we participate with your plan.

Redland Family Dental requires a 48-hour cancellation notice.  Missed appointments are subject to a $50 fee.  Checks returned for insufficient funds are also subject to a returned check fee.

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and CareCredit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
